Happy 4th of July! Check back after the weekend for some new card ideas. I am finally having some time to play with some of the new items from the catalog. I have to say a favorite of mine that I haven't bought (borrowed my sister's) is the Circle Circus. I don't know if you can sense the regret in my post for not buying it when as a demonstrator I was given an opportunity to get it for an additional discount. The card on the top is the card my sister Sarah made and you can see the fun new colors she used. The one on the bottom was for a 60th Wedding Anniversary that I made using Sarah's card for inspiration.
This next card Sarah made using the crayon resist. Again, she has highlighted the fun new colors.
The last card I made using the rock and roll technique, new colors and a fun ribbon technique.

that ribbon technique looks so neat! i've done paper pleating that is similar to this but never thought to do it with ribbon instead. cool : )
